The place I am at with Spanish speaking is somewhere in the middle I just need to learn more and need help with pronouncing some of the words.
Reflection 2:
First things first, how do you feel now that you’ve done it?
Now that I have done my Spanish video I feel like I have more confident than I did a week ago.
What did you anticipate? What were you confident about? Nervous about?
The thing I was nervous about messing up durning the video but even though I did mess up I found out that it is okay to mess up because that means you are learning something new each time and our brains expand.
Please give specific, positive commentary on your partner’s portion of the conversation
Even when my parnter got stuck she still tired her best at remembering the words.
Please give kind, specific, and helpful feedback addressing areas for growth for yourself
I need to work on say the words correctly and listening to stuff thats in Spanish so I can get used to talking in Spanish.
Who would you like to collaborate with on the next video in two weeks? Why?
I would like to collaborate with someone that is good at speaking Spanish so I know how to say and write the words the correct way.
What are some topics you would like to be able discuss?
I would like to talk about food.
How can you challenge yourself to speak with people outside of HTHNC in an authentic way?
See how long and how many words I can say in Spanish. I could have my family members help me out.
Hispanohablantes, how have you pushed yourself to learn new vocabulary through reading/social media/conversation?
I was thinking about buying Spanish speaking audio books to help me expand my vocabulary.
Reflection 3:
Pre-Questions:
What did your partner do to make you feel motivated?
We both knew we could do it if we just took our time, practice, and worked together each and everyday.

My partner and I what text each other back and forth in Spanish sometimes.
How do you anticipate the video recording going tomorrow?
I feel like we will do really good, because we have been practicing our Spanish for the last 2 weeks.
On a scale of MEH - EXCELLENT, how do feel about your level of comfortability with Spanish from the first month of class?
I feel anxious I just can't to see how I do for the second video. After Questions:
What is different about how you prepared for this video from the first?
My partner and I practiced more outside of school and not just in class.
Please give a shout out to your partner.
My partner Johnny actually made me feel like I could get better and improve myself and he didn't make me feel like I could do it or I wouldn't be able to get anywhere with my Spanish.
What new language do you have that is helpful for communication in Spanish?
I don't really know.
What, if any, are disappointments/struggles/frustrations?
I don't really know
Moving forward, what are you excited about?
Now moving forward I feel like I can get better at speaking Spanish. And throuhout the semester I can get really good.
Reflection 4
The first week in spanish I could not say one word in spanish besides hola. I had a really hard time with it and I thought I was going to fail and never learn how to speak spanish. On a scale from 1 to 10 my spanish was at 1 and over the months of practing, studying and doing spanish videos every two weeks. Doing this helped me learn a whole lot more about speaking in spanish and now I can say on a scale from 1 to 10 I am a 7.5. Shoutout to all my partners they all have helped me improve on my spanish in differnt ways and each and everyone has been patient with me and never made me feel like I wasn't able to past or learn. The things I have accomplished this year is having a basic convation with people, before we have the final I want to know how to say words in spanish without missing up or saying it wrong. After watching my first video and my last video I can see the change in me speaking spanish, I couldn't even say one word and now I can ask a full question without messing up.
